WHAT WE DO

Handling With Care is designed specifically to help older adults transition to their new home with ease. We do this by getting to know you and your wants, needs and desires as well as your concerns. Then, based on what we learn from you and our expertise, we offer practical suggestions and sketch out the arrangements. 

Our services include:

• Planning - Establishing a detailed step-by-step plan for a stress-free move. 

• Coordination – Based on our five years of experience, we have developed relationships with vendors who offer the best service and reasonable pricing. As your liaison, we work closely with all parties involved to ensure a smooth, worry-free experience.  

• Design – We have extensive knowledge of the independent and assisted living homes in the area including the layouts for each apartment. Taking your needs and wants into consideration, together we will determine what will look and fit the best in each room and how to best organize the closets and kitchen cabinets. 

• Organization – Once you decide what items you wish to take, based on our plan, we will professionally pack everything with detailed labeling. 

Setting up your new home:  

1. On moving day, we supervise the movers and placement of all your furniture, unpack absolutely everything and place your belongings according to our plan.

2. We connect all of your electronics including televisions, computers, telephones, etc. and make sure they work.

3. We hang your pictures, arrange your photographs and adjust the lighting so that when you walk in, you know you are home.
